Mission

The Mission

The mission is to serve as the sponsoring institute for global peace education, beginning in early childhood, and to carry forth the work of Founder Sarah RisingSun Lee. That work includes:

• The institute already has its own unique textbooks and programs for more in-depth adult education/and or teacher preparation.
• A rigorous global peace curriculum that has been piloted over several decades by the founder.
• An extensive learning environment and educational materials (foci) to support the curriculum.

More Reasons to Support the Mission

• Two educational programs that will help guide future teachers and schools.
• A potential site for a model facility (a children's house) for family-centered and community-supported childcare and early education that is close to nature and will provide large enough rooms and playgrounds to also include after school care and summer programs for older children.
• Long-term planning for an infrastructure for caregiving that can eventually include childcare and eldercare.
• All world programs are studied in one school year where the children learn about many peoples and cultures.
